Every move is different, so the process begins with the property, the contents, access at both addresses and any additional support you need. As a result, the quotation reflects the actual work rather than a rough estimate based only on the number of rooms.
Packing, dismantling, reassembly and storage can be added where required. However, these services are only included when they are clearly listed in your quotation.

For example, a three-bedroom house with straightforward parking can require a different crew and vehicle plan from a smaller property with upper floors, a long carry or difficult furniture. Therefore, the survey matters more than a simple room count.
Once the scope is clear, we can explain what is included, identify any optional services and prepare a written quotation. This gives both you and the removal team a clear plan before the date is confirmed.

What happens on moving day
The crew arrives with the move information and the equipment needed for the agreed work. Before loading begins, the team reviews the property, confirms any final instructions and prepares suitable protection.
Furniture and boxes are then loaded in a planned order, using blankets, covers, straps and other equipment where appropriate. Larger items that were included for dismantling are prepared before they leave the property.
At the new home, agreed items are placed in the correct rooms and furniture included for reassembly is rebuilt where suitable. Unpacking boxes is not automatically included unless it is specifically listed in the quotation.
Finally, the team checks that the agreed work has been completed before leaving. The aim is a calm, organised move with clear communication throughout the day.

Good protection starts with understanding the furniture, property and carrying route. During the survey, we identify televisions, mattresses, sofas, armchairs, fragile items and larger furniture that need particular preparation.
On moving day, the team uses suitable removal blankets, covers, straps and equipment for the agreed work. Floors, doorways and banisters can also be protected where the property and access require it.
Packing is available as a separate service. You can choose full packing, fragile-only packing or support with selected rooms, but it is not automatically included with every house removal.
Where customers pack their own belongings, boxes should be securely closed, clearly labelled and ready before loading begins. Items that cannot safely travel in standard boxes should be discussed during the survey.
